Experiences: The Sanctum, A Descending
Though most of our work is done in corporate organisations, we do run some open programmes and experiences that are available for all – places and spaces where people like you can explore what it means and what it takes to be alive, connected and conscious in the world.
The Sanctum
Born back in 2020 in the chaotic heart of the global pandemic, The Sanctum is a space for ‘Cultivating the spirit of self in sacred sanctuary’ As life ebbs and flows around us, and inside us in myriad ways, it is a place for you to settle, soften and unfold, to sink deep into self, remember, discover and wonder – somewhere to be quiet, introspective yet connected – energetically held by a community of fellow seekers, travelling The Sanctum alongside you.

– A movement downwards.
– A dropping or falling
Winter.
Dark. Cool. Tender. Fragile. Confronting.
This year I invite you to meet me inside all of it, to come down and in, to unravel, to see what wants to be made known – and in the fecund depths of the season, source yourself to begin anew… resurrected.
In a world that’s burning, never has this been more needed.
Join the community for The Sanctum, A Descending.
In each circle, held weekly, we’ll meet for sacred community ceremony. In our gatherings we’ll rest into tea ritual, gently guided by poetry and systemic wisdom, and connect in silent meditation and reflective space. We participate in our collective experience in silence – this is a quiet space with heaps of connection, but no sharing circle or group conversation, so you can yield and gently explore in privacy, as part of a beautiful conscious community.
As a bonus, to hold us more wholly through the energies of the season, I’ll be calling us to meet for a more informal ‘self-service’ gathering on most Wednesday evenings through December and January 8-8:45pm UK. I will hold the space online for us and we’ll simply meet, sit in the dark and quiet and share some bowls together.
All sessions are optional – come as you please.
The Practicalities
- 8 x live group sessions via Zoom, each centred loosely around a silent meditative tea ceremony, guided by Laura
- Meeting 7:30 – 8:30am UK, Fridays from 6th December to 31st January (no gathering on 27th December as we break for Christmas)
- Additional Wednesday evening self-service gatherings, on Zoom 8pm UK, dates tbc
£180 inc vat for new members of the community. The usual discounted price is available for existing or alumni Sanctum community members, please ask me for the discount code.
*If cost prohibits you from joining, please let us know and we’ll make a space available to you in a different way.
